Danny Boy

In the part(과거에), because it was separated from the rest(나머지) of Europe by water, Ireland developed its own unique musical traditions. Now, in modern times, Irish music has become popular all around the world, However, not every popular Irish song was actually written in Ireland, One of the most famous examples is the song "Danny Boy". It is popular withe Irish people all around the globe and is especially enjoyed by Irish-Americans. On St. Patrick's Day, people can hear it being played over and over again in bars and restaurants all over the world. The tune of "Danny Boy" is actually taken from the traditional Irish song "Londonderry Air" But the lyrics were written in 1910 by an English lawyer named Fred Weatherly, who had apparently(겉으로 보기에 *분명히, 명백히) never even visited Ireland.
